A Slight Sabbatical

To all our dear friends on Cosmo, we have to be off a week;
And move all of our belongings, to cheaper quarters seeked!
We really love our new place, much smaller and no stairs;
A perfect little love nest, our coffers to try repair!

Six hundred less a month now, is all we have to pay;
We’re hoping that good fortune, will finally come our way!
Packing has not been easy, having done it thirteen months ago;
But we started very early, and we took it very slow!
.
The movers come Wednesday morning, to fill the rental truck;
Then unload all our possessions, we’ll unpack in five days with some luck!
Hopefully, we’ll be back on by next Monday, tired, but eager to write;
To all our poetic Soulmates, on this beautiful poetry site!
