Borrowing Perfect

Dreary days
With Christmas baubles stuck to
the end,
glittering with promise
And goodwill pretend
That for a small minute
Within the eons of time
We may just borrow perfect
Make our dreary worlds shine

I think your eyes are also wide open Tony and it can be a curse my friend...can it not. Why are we missing you anyway, are you in good health? Come back ...you are adored on here. Thankyou for your wonderful comment X
Oh Marion, this says so much to me, regarding Christmas. Christmas doesn't last long though. Good cheer gets thrown out with the wrapping paper. Love this poem as I love all your work ❤ x
Aw thanks for that lovely comment Tina...means a lot ...used to love Xmas...hate it now and what season are we in anyway??? I have buds opening on my cream rose Bush...Good god!!! Xx
Tell me about it! In Diesels field we have red and white campion flowering, we have Daisies, yes daisies, in the grass and dandelions! In my Garden, the camelia is in full bud! Absolutely crazy, if not a bit scary! Xx
