A SPARKLE

A SPARKLE

I saw this little spark in me
The most beautiful thing I ever did see
It wanted to thrive, to come alive
It simply wanted to be
I didn't know God put it there
I was totally, absolutely unaware
How could this be? Was this really me?
I couldn't help but stare
I'm a speck of God's reflection
A part of my God connection
It had always been there, I was just unaware
I'm a piece of God's perfection
I can't look at myself in quite the same way
As I began to realize
How can I go back to who I thought I was
When I'm a sparkle in Father God's eyes
