A step towards Paris
Taking that step
the one
where inhibitions go away
reasoning is replaced
by the inner
desire to walk
free from
the troubles that
captivate
you
and creativity
projects
a new
dimensionÂ
for theÂ
soul
Dreamy
like
HallucinationsÂ
For the poet
it is the
escape
the place
the feeling
of adventure
that stirs
the inner
spark
of
hope
Kinda like
just getting
away
feeling
the Parisian
air
hearing
the voices
ofÂ
the past
and anticipation
to theÂ
future
A daydream
that
becomes
real
the will
the intent
evolves
into
taking
that step
onward
the spirit
proceeds

I love Paris. It has a very special feel to it. The narrow cobbled streets of Mon Marte (if that is how you spell it) is heaven for creatives. Lovely poem Greg x
It's a good write to take minds away for boring daily stuff. However I wonder how much romance is left in Paris today! Even the Eiffel Tower has been fenced off not too long ago. I could walk underneath and climb up when I was there years ago. Shame on humanity, really shameful.
