A Thousand Oaks Turned Weeping Willows

Another senseless massacre, has happened yesterday;
Twelve blessed innocent people, mowed down in a section of L.A.!
Just out for some enjoyment, they lost their lives to a madman with a gun;
It seems like the predicted Armageddon, already has begun!

The survivors have related such tales, of heroes very brave;
Who acted as human shields, and several lives were able save!
What once was an anomaly, has become so common place;
The slaughter of the innocents, monsters attack the human race!

The insanity is rampant, throughout the World each day;
Satan’s legions on a rampage, to make sanctity go away!
We look up to the Heavens, asking God to take revenge;
For the murders of our children, do we have His permission to avenge?

                        For our children who are slain
                           Please help us dear Lord
