A trip down memory lane ?

Perhaps you are reading this from the comfort of your own home ?
Well it doesn’t matter wherever you are “I hope you enjoy my little poem”
I want to try and take you on trip down memory lane
Imagine it has just started to snow as you look out of your window pane

You have been busy wrapping presents up Christmas day is almost here
Your fairy lights are twinkling full of festive cheer
You have shopped till you’ve dropped for all the family food and Father’s beer
Santa Claus will be pulling his sleigh with Rudolph the red nosed reindeer

Well Xmas is but a memory with the New year in it’s wake
As you reminisce that very cold morning with the sight of that first snowflake
You loved watching the little Robin redbreast as he shuddered a snowy shake and can recollect the deep depths of snowfall on the onset of the daybreak

But the timelessness of time has surpassed the Winter season 
Springtime sprung with uncertanties
of a changing world without any rhyme nor reason
Now Summer is upon us and we wait with anticipation each and every time our leaders of the land broadcasts to the nation

Well I really hope my little trip down that memory lane was nice and ask for what our future holds 
“I wouldn’t fret or worry” if you can heed my advice
This big wide world will keep on spinning and the months will pass on by
And you can bet your bottom dollar normality will return in but the blink of an eye
