A TRIP TO HEAVEN
Although conscious of the world, sometimes
I just leave, go where imagination takes me
I wander to never ending beautiful places
places of magical wonder, a pleasure to see
I witness heaven where we are all equal, angels of the light
I see in my minds eye the purification of the earths plight
I see lost loved ones greet me on the other side
can i ask, do other people go on this magical ride?
So often people have said to me your in a world of your own
How near the truth they were, if only they could`ve seen, and known
I love to knock off from the world, to feel some harmony and peace
no strife just a life free from disarray, where wars cease
Such beautiful imagery your thoughts can conjure in your head
they are not of this world though,I hope this is where i go when i`m dead
Ahh yes i was always told at school you have the most vivid imagination
but i never thought that wrong, who would`nt want to go to this heavenly destination
I think i have described here my innermost thoughts and dreams
but i know in my heart what heaven looks like, or maybe how it seems...

Hi Debs...I go on such journery once in a while. It's mostly when I'm troubled that I just close my eyes, lay still and embark on such a journey. It can be quite soothing. Lovely write Debs.

Hey DEBS!! ~ it's interesting how when I saw the picture and began reading your words it came to me ~ "Stairway To Heaven"........you describe the ability to remove yourself from daily strife ~ "...who wouldn't want to go to this heavenly destination"........smiles........this ability you're describing is in the early chapters of books you'll find on "Transcendental Meditation" ......along with several other specific types of meditation......but yours is a VERY specific place you've developed on your own.....it's such a great tool for writers who are tapping into their imagination and creative destiny.......it makes me excited to read this kind of write.....it's such a healing place for the human psyche.....beautifully conveyed here in your own poetic style and compelling choices in phrasing......Loved it!!......ALL STARS.......high fives girlfriend!!........LOVE and ROCKETS!!......T xo
Hi Tony You mention Stairway to heaven and i just added the
Led Zepplin song uncanny! i know i have a vivid imagination a very
deep thinker too. but i really think i can leave here and go other places
whether it is asleep or not, subconsciously i know when i have come back it is
feeling i can not explain although years ago i read a Buddhist book on astral traveling
and this sounded very much what happens it doesn¬t happen often though
I could`nt really explain it as i wanted to
in my poem to the full degree, i hav`nt even talked about it to anyone only my
close friend who passed we talked about it in depth
We made a pact whoever passed first we would
meet through this way, it hasn`t happened yet but i believe it will.
