A voice beyond

Though now that I am gone. 
My time here has passed. 
I leave you not alone. 
For I see my family has amassed. 

I will not ask you not to cry. 
For it is our nature to morn. 
All things must die. 
To be again reborn. 

I have had many great years. 
Because of family and friends.
So as you shed the tears. 
Remember it's not the end. 

Let my memory live on. 
From within your heart. 
We are not forever gone. 
And shall never part.  

As you lay my body down. 
My soul shall rise high. 
Now wipe off that frown. 
And look for me beyond the sky. 

Just began each day on bended knee. 
And simply ask for his love. 
So that one day we
Can be reunited above. 

I go now to my home. 
Where I can watch over. 
From beside the thrown. 
And guid you moreover. 

Weep not for a loss. 
But for the gain. 
Price paid with a cross. 
To end our pain. 

Your family and I await.
