A Walk In My Shoes

A Walk In My Shoes

Take a walk in my shoes
Where it’s either good or bad news
It’s never in between
My state of health could never be cleaned
There are days where I feel locked behind windows that are barred
There are nights where I’m sleepless and I just stare at past scars
I never know what's going to happen or what's going to go down
Sometimes I feel as bad as a sheep, or as good as a clown
My moods are unpredictable, I often don’t know who I am
Sometimes when I tell the truth, people look at me like I’m nothing but a scam
I mean to do well, but this walk in my shoes, puts me through daily hell
I have many health conditions
Some of them put me in deep suspicion
I’m not sure where this walk will take me
But hopefully one day, I’ll be free
To live as the person I’ve longed to be
You won’t be able to understand me
Because you’ll never be able to walk in my shoes

The fish of the sea

Desperation. Could really feel this one. And I know I say that a lot, but it's true. I get heaps of personal connection from your writes. You are not alone! Peace and smiles to you. TFOTS
