A Walrus Hallucinates

A Walrus Hallucinates

My Ink
is being
Spoken

For you
the reader

to see
hear
and
Feel

ideas
create

words
inculate
to
what is
being
catalyzed

Disfigured
Berth
rests
upon the
sea

unmelted
butter
placed
in a pie
while
the kettle
boils
summoning
us
for
a
formal
time for
tea

The Walrus
seats
at
the head
of
the
table
as
lonely hearts
gather around

carrying
hallucinations
procreated
from
the lips

reminding
us
today
is yesterday's
tomorrow
and
the now
always
fixates
of what
could
have been

Never
considering
our
reality
is what
we
dictated
it
to be...

I think we learn we dictate nothing Greg...that is the great hallucination.
We only control minute decisions in the choices presented and even then we cannot be sure of the outcomes. Thought provoking write 🌹
