A Winter's Wonderland

Squirrels jumpingĀ
From tree to treeĀ
Up high aboveĀ
Living free indeedĀ
Hearing the waterĀ
Gently flow down the lineĀ
Deer scatterĀ
As we approachĀ
Scaring themĀ
But not intentlyĀ
In the landĀ
They call homeĀ
This frozen terrainĀ
A lovely timeĀ
In the monthsĀ
Before mayĀ
Birds singingĀ
Some cannotĀ
Carry a tuneĀ
Must beĀ
The brisk windĀ
Disturbing their grooveĀ
As the snow finallyĀ
Comes to an endĀ
It is the changesĀ
Of the seasonsĀ
A wondrous reminderĀ
Of God's master planĀ
Giving us the knowledgeĀ
With a loving handĀ
To recognizeĀ
We are not aloneĀ
In His winter's wonderlandĀ

Thanks Linda . I think this is one of my best . Love poems are easy to write but nature it much harder . Stay warm it is cold with snow everywhere here. 21 degree now. I need a beach trip soon. Take care rockĀ
My Brother Poet Rock,
As the cold air cleanses Mother Earth, and purifies her, the people know that soon the warming rays of Spring will warm all. Ā God sends Phoebus Appollo to reignite the earth in the warmth of all His bounty. Ā Soon, this Winter's wonderland will be verdant, with birds singing, bees stinging and people clinging.
Peace and Love,
Larry xxx
