A wish of a broken soul

Darkness is upon me as lighting crashes over my head. 
The rain is pounding just like my head.

Chasing a dream that may not come true, as I cry in bed because I want only you.

I sit in silence and imagine what could be,
A simple and pleasant life with just you and me.

The clouds are parting and the stars are shining, as I make a wish, 
a wish so powerful and true.

That one day it will be only me and you.

A wish with a powerful sacrifice in the end.

I wish that I can be your only one,
I wish that I can be the girl in your dreams.

But as I come to reality that its only a dream.

This broken soul of mine, will just be fine because in the end, 

All I sacrificed was my life...
