A Woman Made Whole

A Woman Made Whole

She gazed to the skies,
For a story foretold,
Of two lovers aligned,
Both with hearts of old.

For her time had come,
A fairytale was born,
And no longer in life,
Did she have to mourn.

β€œI will give you the moon,
You need to just ask.”
Then he gave her the stars,
With the sun in his grasp.

β€œI will hold you forever,
With my love that is true,
With every beat of my heart,
This I promise to you.”

So she held his hand,
As he held her soul,
A story of eternity,
Of a woman made whole.
