A young mind in love
He said, " I did not think about it at the time.
What it would be like to have you as mine.
Because at first we were friends
And then so abruptly became lovers
And I was only a boy, so to me you was just another.
Then suddenly you showed me how I was ever so wrong
As I slowly unraveled the art that laid beneath the shell of your body,
A mind so controversial, I realised you weren't just anybody.
But while my head rejected, my heart still craved you,
I became so stuck as to what I should do
Eventually I began painting grey Skye's blue
A perfect illusion that I knew weren't true
Again, fooling myself, was a mindless thing to do
But pushing you away felt like the only thing to do.
Because losing you due to fear,
Was not enough to remove you from within here.
And so that's why I need you to hurt me so bad,
So bad that even my heart becomes glad,
Glad that, I was right all along.
And now I can remain forever head strong "
But he knew that he was only fooling himself.
A connection like that can't be left on the bookshelf.
You go back and you read and you read it again...
Until you understand,
That ironically a love like this you will never understand.
And when you move on, which you will.
You will realise these problems were all by freewill.
You can choose what you want but you can't change who you love,
And when you look back you would of already lost that one true love.
