ABADDON WAITS
He was there
Pale gray
Meatless frame
Rags for clothes
Hollow eyed
Withered lips
On boney knees
Gnawing his own flesh
He growled
When he saw me
Returned to eating
Watching me closely
She hung upside down
Hair trailingΒ
Towards the floor
Her face sagged
She kept her hands foldedΒ
over her dried breast
She seemed to sway
Moaning as in a wind
The baby colorless and dry
Lay in the corner
As if thrown there
Naught but waste
Huge eyes
Glassy
Stared at nothing
Blinking
Broken nails
Chalkboardβs squeal
Blue veined fist
Pounds out echoes
If this is hell
Then your not late
Time never started
Nor will it end
Call the abandoned
Relish the obsceneΒ
Debone the zealotsΒ
Suckle the wicked
Pain for all
Travails aboundΒ
As specters hum
Off keyed wails
No scarlet seen
For blood is life
Only deathΒ
Is welcome here
He buryβs his face
In moldy flesh
Scraping bone knees
On cinder and rock
She sounds aΒ
breathy wheezing
As air escapesΒ
Dry lungs
And the gargoyle
I thought a baby
Slime trails
Up the wall
All accepted here youβll findΒ
There is no cost
A place for allΒ
That choose to believe
There is no land for the lost
