Absence

Absence

Alone;
without your accompaniment
that space in this bed is yours.

Cold;
without your fiery glow
shivering without your warmth.

Fatigued;
without your spirit
I already miss you.

Sullen;
without your bright demeanor
the light fades when you're gone.

Longing;
without your presence
hoping you'll reappear.

Thinking;
I've decided one thing
while occupied by silence.

There is one thing
that I never want to live without.
You.
