Absence

Absence

Three o`clock in the morning,
church bell rock,
rain keep fallin',
around the block;
darkness, while fire burns,
light, where tunnel turns,
shadow, by your bed,
silence, no words were said,
follow, down the hall,
mirror, on the wall,
patience, while you wait,
listen, don't be late.

Where one might be,
three letters stand,
to walk alone,
in shoes of man.
