You can actively listen without saying a word
It proves to the speaker that they're being heard
Do you really listen or do you just hear the words
Mimic the actions when you listen to birds

Being heard makes people feel that you care
Words are important and are something to share
Why offer to lend an ear if you don't really hear
You can't pretend to listen just because you are near

Say to someone you will listen rather than you can talk to me
Listening is different to hearing as soon you will see
Take a different approach to really hear what is said
