The Fly

The Fly

Naturally curious and really quite rude
Making a bee line into my food
Buzzing and rubbing it's feet as it goes
Carrying germs where it's been no one knows

Louder and louder as it starts to descend
Creature of God but nobody's friend
Dives into my steak before I have chance
Dipping and diving the vermin dance

Strictly come dancing you'd win by a mile
No one returning your beady eyed smile
Another meal lost to the furry legged swine
I'm just glad he didn't land in my wine

Hey DEBRA!!...I had to PIN this because it is SO perfectly playful and serious at the same time!!  One time I was playing basketball on an outdoor court and as I went up for a shot a fly flew into my mouth....and as I landed on my feet my mouth naturally closed and I bit into the fly....I will never forget the nasty, foul, disgusting, horrible taste that exploded in my mouth.....I had to quit the game and it took me hours to rid myself of its invasion....anyway, my point is....that Marion's comment is quite right....."You HAVE captured the essence of fly here exactly.."........Great write my friend......well done......LOVE & ROCKETS!!.....T xo  : )
