Ad Infinitum

I wander the foodcourts for cheap lunch

I buy my staples at the same market

I commute to the office in figures of eight

I recieve my pay check

Pay the loan at the bank

And remit some of the scraps in figures of eight

I play cricket with old friends

Watch a movie in my bed

I call mum and dad in figures of eight

I take annual leave

And hop on a plane

I visit my village in figures of eight

The sun rises

Birds hunt

And then it all sets in figures of eight

My children are born

They grow up so fast

And then they return in figures of eight

The fish of the sea

Interesting poem, deep themes gonna take some time for me to think about this one. Kind regards. TFOTS

Being Me

It does seem like a figure of eight sometimes... Life. Here, there, there, here, there again, here again. Two steps forward and three steps back. Round and round we go.
