Adventures of a Tumbleweed

I watch a tumbling tumbleweed,
As it dances over yonder.
I watch the tumbling tumbleweed,
And it makes me start to wonder.

Where you have been
And where you will go,
And if I have been there also.

I suppose people are like tumbleweeds,
We become more dry and brittle as we go.

We pick up more dust as we travel,
And don’t always know where to go.

The only difference between them and us,
Is that they don’t fear the vast unknown.
