Afghan girl

a girl with eyes like emerald fire
a symbol of human desire
to live, to love, to aspire
in her gaze, we never tire.
within those emerald depths, worlds collide
a child's gaze, where untold stories hide
each wrinkle, a path where sorrows abide
yet in her silence, dignity presides.
beneath the red, a canvas of her life
colors of courage, cut through strife like a knife
her eyes, a mirror to a world rife
with tales of loss, survival, and life.
in every thread, a history is spun
of days beneath a relentless sun
a life unfolded, a freedom won
a battle fought, a peace not yet begun.
her stare, a challenge to the soul within
to see beyond the surface, to begin
to understand the journey she's been in
a world of chaos, she stands, a silent din.
those eyes, a beacon in the darkest night
a testament to her unyielding fight
a portrait of a girl with endless might
against a world that's robbed her of her light.
indepths of green orbits, a girl gazes
(piercing souls, her silent story unfurls)
scarlet whispers drape her, a vivid maze
of resilience—frayed edges of her world.
weathered by life's storms, her visage bears
traces of dust, lines of unwritten tales
lips sealed with strength, a stance that declares
"I endure," her spirit never fails.
beauty and sorrow in her eyes entwine
vulnerability with courage spine
a reminder of conflict's harsh design
yet, a spirit resilient, divine.
