Age of Love

Love doesn’t age

That’s what I’m told

It’s never new

It never olds

It’s always constant

It stays the same

And you know it’s

Not real

When your love change

Love doesn’t age

That’s what they say

And when love finds you

It will always stay

Love is loyal

Love is true

Love is what I thought

I shared with you

“Love doesn’t age!”

They scream at me

Well how can love have

An anniversary?

Love doesn’t age

They’re all convinced

They think they know love

But I doubt their wit

Love doesn’t age

They swear to know

Yet, we hear them say

That they see love grow

Love doesn’t age…

Oh, what a lie!

Because if love didn’t age

How did our love die?
