Death Ain't Much To Me

I've lived through many seasons
Some through love but most through tragedy
My body has become weathered and frail
Grief and diabetes have taken their toll on me
I fought wars with my inner demons
Somehow i survived every storm
With pure will and determination
Qualities i've had since i was born

So don't shed any tears
Don't be sad over my tragedy
Because after this life of pain
Death ain't much to me

I've buried most of my love ones
Many years before their time
Tragedy has always followed me
Death never seemed  far behind
My life may be judged as short
In terms of measuring by years
But in terms of memories & quality
My life was longer than it appears

So don't shed any tears
Don't be sad over my tragedy
Because after this life of pain
Death ain't much to me
