High Strangeness
I never like to sleep alone
I fear youāll come unbidden.
I sometimes find I talk to you
my thoughts from you not hidden
Iām braver now than once I was
I sleep without the light,
but still I know you visit me
and usually at night.
No matter where I travel to
at some point I will see
reminders that Iām in your sights,
youāre keeping tabs on me.
Iām not like you, donāt feel like you
Iām just an earthly being,
to you Iām just a species strange
thatās all youāre ever seeing.
Youāve never hurt me, or at least
Ā if so, then I donāt know it.
I must be scared but keep my calm
and hope I never show it
Sometimes I wonder if perhaps
Iām specially selected,
I even hope that maybe we
in some way are connected.
Itās fifty years since that first time
I saw your craft so near,
and thinking back my heart still pounds
and I can taste Ā my fear.
Since then Iām not the only one
you also know my son,
we know for sure that you are real
soon, so will everyone.

Your powerful poem, lets me know that there are many of us that have shared extraterrestrial phenomenon.Ā However, yours seems so much more involved than mine.
One night, while just arriving in Greenville, SC, my Father and I saw something that could only be interpreted as having come to Earth from outer space.Ā It looked like two saucers atop one another, with multicolored windows in between.Ā My Father, who was a great sceptic, about the existence of extraterrestrial events, was so mesmerized, that we almost ran into a telephone pole, for he could not believe his eyes.Ā For my whole adult life, I have always believed that we are not alone in our Universe.

We certainly are not alone, that's for sure.I can't say with any certainty who we are sharing this world withĀ or were they are from or their intent but what I can say is that 'they' are here and I guess in timeĀ we will know more of the answers. This is very strange stuff lodigiana, I often think are these little grey beings us from the future, is your visitor you protecting you and if so, this would mean we are living in the past, our future has already happened.
I also like to believe in what you have said, that we are all connected, alien life has always intrigued me, I absolutely love the film 'signs' and my favourite movie of all time is 'contact'.Ā
I really hope you find what you are looking for and I believe one day, we will see and touch and learn directly from our alien friends from the Cosmos.

Despite a number of different experiences I still cant say with any certainty whats going on..I just live day to day and sometimesĀ feel maybe lucky that I have had the opportunity to see the things I have seen..and to be honest I think if there were any bad intents they would have already happened..so I sort of think of myself as maybe a mountain lion tagged by naturalists interested in finding out more about meĀ without any intention to hurt or damageĀ but rather just curious..who knows Gerard?..I dont really have a clueĀ but there are many mysteries in life and this I guess is just another one. Hi John, it's all very strange but over the last 50 years I have had a few experiences including, being within 15-20 ft of a slow flying object directly above me and following me,a glowingĀ object actually in my home and seen by my thenĀ 11 year oldĀ son, experiencing a 5-6hrĀ time loss after hearing what I believe was a UFO outside my bedroom window in 1970's and dreams which I want to think are dreams and not real..but who knows?. I do feel a connection that is difficult to express but hope this piece gave you a flavour of it.So pleased you found it interesting..there really are stranger things in heaven and earth!....Lodigiana xx
