Today is a brand new hope, guiding me into this brand new day and for once in my life i plan to do things my way. Even though evil follows me wherever i may be, no matter If i turn left onto this avenue or hang a right down onto the street, in front of me down the path of righteousness is where i desire to direct my feet. If you know life like i do you too know it's not all that cut and dry, whenever i wish to do right, wrong is always standing by. For no more will i labor over my past and what life has thrown my way, these are the images that prevent me from getting any sleep. I now understand that it is indeed in me, for i am the master of my abilities and no more will i run from my responsibilities. I write this poem for all my people struggling to make their way out of the darkness into the light, keep hoping, keep fighting and stay ever in the moment and you watch everything will be all right.
