Alone

Tiredness is a sneaky girl,

She creeps up,

And bam, your defences are gone,

She works for the enemy,

Whose words rain down,

Their arrows pierce straight into your flesh,

Next anger's army charge in,

She gets inside your head,

She makes you despise yourself,

Then despair cuts your heart out,

Without your heart all hope is gone,

And with that the wave of sadness, 

Which surges in and extinguishes your flame of love,

That's when the tears begin to fall,

Hot,tired,angry,disparing and upset tears,

Roll down making rivers,

Too deep to swim,

These torrents wash your very being away,

Until you're just a shell,

Motionless,heartless and numb, 

Desperate for love,

Yet nothing can reach you,

You don't even know if they're trying,

Alone,

Loneliness hurts,

You get tired of hurting.
