Alone

Chloe Wint

So many people around

So many people to talk to

But no words can escape

I want to talk,

To understand,

To associate,

But you're not there

I mean you are there

But not really there

You can see me

But not hear me

I'm telling you I need you

I'm crying for help

Can you not see it in my eyes?

Oh I forgot

You can only see my smile

I look so happy

And that is why I'm so alone

Thank you very much for your comment -it is much appreciated!

Referring back to your comment about it being honest, that is very true.

I wrote it while feeling alone, so it speaks from the heart.

All the emotions on there are exactly what I'm feeling, so I thought why not convey it into a poem?
