Always trust your gut,
The knowledge already there.
Though danger not yet experienced,
Your mindset is aware.
To prepare you for disaster,
Your body starts to nag.
Charging headstrong on ahead,
Like a bull to a red rag.
The warning signs now prominent,
But continue as you will.
Ignoring natures instincts,
Just to chase the thrill.
Ending in destruction,
The wounds are freshly cut.
Yet this could have been avoided,
Had you listened to your gut.
