Live life with ease

I’d like to have a rest today 
I’m tired & it’s showing,
But washing, ironing & tidying up
Forever keeps me going. 
Juggling work and the children,
Cooking and cleaning,
There’s rarely time for a break!
But to hear the boys laughing,
And to have a clean home,
Makes the sacrifice easy to make. 
Stood at work- bored!
Wishing the hours away
To get home to my babies
For cuddles and play. 
Easter holidays now,
I’ve got the time off. 
Let’s build forts in the lounge
And hunt for chocolates to scoff!
I wish I could be a
Stay-at-home mum,
Live life a little calmer
And have endless fun. 
Have my boys with me always
And do as we please.
Where money’s not an issue
And we live life with ease.
