Amaranth

Amaranth

Lilt soft milady fair
Beauty tis thine to share
Amaranth and gold
Exquisite to behold

Sable thine campaign
Evermore may thou reign
Royalty tis thy own
Enthrall garden gnome

Stately dame enthrone
Tints proudly don
Dual tis coat of arms
Bewitched by thy charms

Draped in emerald green
Petals enfold serene
Flaunt utmost cavalier
Spring tis grand premiere

I note and note well you used the single word I would have chosen to describe this little gem in your first verse .. indeed exquisite is very descriptive and in this case, perfectly apt .. NevilleΒ
