~~American Honey
Thereâs nothing better than American honey
Tupelo, Heather, golden, pale, or coffee
From the California coast to the great Mississippi
Thereâs nothing sweeter than American honeyÂ
.
American honey goes on my whole wheat bread
 I donât need a refrigerator I like it warm instead
American honey works like a medicine on me
 Puts a jump in my step and keeps me healthy
.
Some things I wonât do with my American Honey;
Put whip cream of on it with a maraschino cherry
And sharing with strangers is also not my policy;
 It can make some people sick; those with allergy
.
My mind is overwhelmed with flavors and variety
And I can`t wait to discover tastes that wait for me
But now itâs time to pour myself a hot cup of tea
Sweetened with a spoonful of my America honey
