An Addict

Addiction
Some find it in a bottle 
As they take 'one more sip' for the fifth time
Others in the smoke that rolls out of their nose
As their minds float off
   Higher
      Higher
         Higher
I find mine in a man that whispers he loves me
As he lays in the bed of another woman

Alcohol hurts your health,
yet you drink.
Drugs hurt your mind,
And still you smoke.
This man hurts my heart, 
But I continue to love.
