Ash Face

Tears of fire
Roll down
My face of ash
They make their mark
A streaming trail of scar tissue
Wipe it away
With your hands so pure
Mend my skin
As you have mended my soul
I cherish your touch
For I am blind
You haven't helped me
Only made the burn worse
I long for your healing touch
Though I know
You have always been the cause of my tears
Tears of fire.
