An Angel on my shoulder 👼

Twas my sudden turn around perhaps coz of an Angel on my shoulder

Keeping me safe out of harms way as I am getting older

I remember back when I was much younger I was braver and definately bolder

But nowadays I get excited easily though I am constantly feeling colder..

I was out on my regular rambles when I veered my direction

Something strange inside my inner self must have felt a strong interconnection

Maybes it was from those heavenly powers that be telepathically sending an interjection

Well whoever or whatever was responsible for my change of plan, I am so thankful for their added protection..
                           ~
An articulated vehicle tipped its heavy load over you see

And if I had walked on my usual pathway that could have well hit me

But I was oblivion of this accident and as happy as can be

Singing along to the radio through my earphones melodiously...
