An Angel

“An angel lost their wings and fell from the heavens afar
Righteous didn’t want the hopeless and scared
Finding comfort within the darkness that evil has set in place
Living the life that would embrace
Though answers never come and the return seems lost within the unknown
The reality of what has come to be shall be called home
An angel fell with a story to tell
Sins forgiven within a story of hell
Planted in the garden with all that is rotten
To be forgotten
Forced to grow among the wickedness of man
forced in a society that may not understand
An angel lost their wings and fell from the heavens afar
For righteous didn’t want the hopeless and scared’
Finding satisfaction with pain that consumes the internal
once rising from the depths of the infernal
sadness suffocates the weakest of hearts
a soul falls apart
the righteous didn’t want the hopeless and scared
so an angel lost their wings from heaven a far!

love the pic and the angel wings effect it gives ,fits in right with the piece morris .its a sad piece with a good story behind it .we all make mistakes ,but some are born into a society or family that through no fault of their own corrupts them .we all begin angels but we can earn our wings back by changing .thought provoking piece .   tina x
Yes, this write is very thought provoking particularly regarding "righteousness".  The righteousness addressed in this piece (to me) is "extreme".  I know people who carry the trait of "those who didn't want the hopeless and scared".  They are so extremely righteous that they compare themselves with others and find them lacking in value, which is not wise. In my experience, I have found a large concentration of "extreme righteousness" in the church.
Excellent write!
