An Angel gets Its Wings

Another life past down here

An Angel gets its wings

Flying to Heaven above

While the other Angel sings

With opened arms there welcomed

To sit at God's right hand

To watch over us down here

Till the day we meet again

Another Angel gets its wings

Although we are at a loss

They are celebrating with

The one who died upon the cross

For God died for our sins

So we could have a chance

To live and love in happiness

For when this Angel gets its wings

Although we can not see them

Did finally get its wings
