Will Santa find us?
The little boy asked his mom
"Will Santa find us here" ?
We had a house for him to go
Now we don't this year
We had a tree for all our gifts
For him to put them under
Now this year we don't you see
Can he find us I wonder
Will Santa find us this year
Does he know where we are at
Will he bring a blanket
Will he bring us gloves or a hat?
Just last year
His daddy died
They took their home
And the car he had to ride
Now they sleep under the stars
With no roof over there heads
Last year they had so many things
This year they don't have beds
The mother takes her child
And puts him on her knee
We may not get much this year
But you will always have me
I love you with all my heart
With every breath I take
We receive gifts everyday
With every memory we make
There is no greater gift in life
Then the love of family
The meaning of Christmas
Is not how much is under the tree
Her son wakes up Christmas morn
With a smile on his face
He gives his mom a present and says
I made this for you just in case
Santa could not find us
Or bring us any gifts
I hope you like it mommy
I'm sorry thats all there is
I made you an ornament
To put on a tree
Although we don't have one this year
It's a gift to you from me
Next year we might have one
But if not thats okay
As long as were together
We will have a wonderful day
Because you said the greatest gift
Is love of family
I love you too mommy
And I'm sending love up to daddy
As she wipes a tear from her eye
She hugs him with all her might
She says daddy's watching over us
Keeping us safe at night
Merry Christmas baby
Your my gift daddy gave me
There is no greater gift my son
To be found under anyone's tree
