Angel in You

Angel in You

Sitting at the mirror
In your room
I was looking through the door
With nothing else to do
I feel fine
Thinking of the day’s
When you where you
Reflections of the past
Nothing else is new
Why would I change?
The angel in you

Years pass me by
You’re not the angel
That once caught my eye
Like someone took a part of you
Did it just die?
That angel in you
Just waved goodbye
Can’t break through
Although I’ve tried
To keep the past
Not leave it all behind
There’s a change in you
Now I can’t decide
The angel in you
Has gone for a ride
How could they change
The angel in you
