I cant put into words
How painful things are
To not have you near
To have you so far
Its again that time of year
When I think of no one but you
Its coming close to your birthday
But the world don't have a clue.Â
Myself and all the family
Miss you so much more than you know
I just wish you were hereÂ
So I could let it show
One last hug
And kiss on the cheek
One last goodbye
I cant promise
That my eyes wont leak
I really need you near me
In my life once more
You are my hero granda
My heart is constantly sore
Because of that pedestal
That I happily sit you upon
What I cant handle
Is the fact that your gone
I try think of the good times
That once upon a time we had
But my love for you takes over
Then the good memories turn bad
I miss you so much
That I cant describe the feeling
When you were here
My life had more meaning
Till next year my dearest granda
When I write for you once more
I hope and pray to the angels
They'll let you walk through my door.
