Another Hollow Halloween

It’s so hard to think just seven years ago, we were sharing all life’s joys;
It was Halloween, and we celebrated, with our precious little boys!
Your Vet threw a very large party, for her clients and their dogs;
All came to have a good time, recorded in anlalogs!

Photographs for the future, to not forget that glorious day;
With Mommies and Daddies watching, their doggies roles to play!
You became our Doctor’s, and us your patients true;
Our ailments being love-sick, with our feelings had for you!

You wrote us a prescription, for Soulmate’s soothing pills;
It had no expiration date, never ending free refills!
We took them every day then, our bonds the strongest in the land;
Ne’er to be divided, united e’er to stand!

But the injustice of your longevity, we could not override;
And one by one you left us, to mourn you when you died!
We look upon this photo, from the past when you were near;
It’s another Hollow Halloween, for you’re no longer here!
