Another Life

Another Life

What would you do if you came back to Earth again?
You have a different body, the last difficult to sustain,
enjoyed smoking, what were you trying to attain,
wouldn't let you in, had to stand outside in the rain.

George Harrison's ashes were still floating in the Ganges,
the occasional cough sent ripples along and overseas;
my father shaved around a cigarette, his small boy there,
unlike today or any day, I had the time to stand and stare.

My Sweet Lord could be heard somewhere in the distance,
through the ages, sometimes in heaven and not by chance;Ā Ā
how would you feelĀ just seeing your ashes floating by?
Is it me? No, do not even weep for me or start to cry.

My spirit lives in all our worlds for now and eternity,
George and I love everyone - look for us in the sky.Ā
