another time

  fire crackling, autumn approaches, another season

has come and gone

bringing with it a time of cheer and eggnog

long times past stories abound , drifting smoke

the stars run amuck, grandfathers tell a time

when life was not stuck,

comrades in a circle waiting

the point to come around yet again
