Poem -

time goes on no matter

Ā  what ever happened to those

days of sweet popcorn balls

bobbing for apples in a barrel of laughter

hay rides that took you to heights and places untold

black cats strutting under firemans' ladders

werewolves prowling, darken woods lurking

stopping the spirits from running totally umuck

setting by the fire listening to tales of sprites and woodland fairies

Elvira was my very favorite, drinking tons of pepsi product

I would loveĀ  to fill me a bag of candy, smirking at the lost shadows

oh that time would stand still, or perhaps go back a step or two

in the heart of hearts we never forget smell my feet or give me something good to eat

when the spirits are let loose and darkness gets a shade darker

hey if only

time goes on no matter what we can do

but we stay forever:Ā  trick - or treat
