THE Answer to Life

Imagine life as a question,

left hanging in the threads of the air,

So small that you cannot reach the answer,

Ā

But one dubious little day,

A hand reaches out, not far away,

And grasps the meaning,

The meaningful answer,

And plants it in your brain,

Ā

This answer takes forever and a day to grow,

But you are patient,

And when the time has come,

You open your eyes,

And a little voice whispers,

ā€œDarling, life is just what you make itā€

Ā

At that moment you feel a wave overcome you,

Your time on earth is through,

Ā

Dear, dear you took so long to discover the answer,

You forgot to live,

Tragic but true.
