Anytime…….For Charlotte Connolly
Inspired by her beautiful poem “sometimes I feel like…..”
She floated into my garden, this Royal Queen of Bees;
She thinks I do not notice her, but her beauty do I see!
On the Lake Of Sweet Serenity, I spot a graceful swan;
She opens up her heart to me, and quickly I respond!
Then I look and see a Rainbow, which I never could forget;
For its’ colors are remarkable, each prism my heart set!
Then the sun shines down on a saddened weed, weeping all alone;
But with it comes a ray of light, a new purpose to her shone!
Then there comes a grayish dark cloud, bringing the threat of rain;
But the grasses and the flowers sing, for they get water them sustain!
It turns into a thunderstorm, the sky fills with electricity;
As I clap for all its’ mighty strength, and the powers meant to be!
But then again the sky is blue, I come out from a tall tree;
It has given to me protection, its’ Iambic Limbs for all to see!
Oft time dear Mother Nature, sends her children very far;
To help a lost soul on a journey, to discover who they are!
