Poem -

The Arrow

...and darkness fell.

The birds nested in silence.

The people retired their day.

The wind never stirred.

The moon never rose.

All was dark.

The sea laid still.

Calmness overtook.

Nothing became everything,

and Love shattered my all

laying scattered within.

         Rage descended

         and Death dove

         down

         as swift

         and

         as sharp

         as the Arrow

         for the Kill!

...and darkness fell.

Nice one Larry

Nothing became every thing, to me this sounds like the beginning, it all always comes to to light, to form and to being after spending some time in the void, the fierce darkness, the womb of all matter. Every seed must experience it so to be able to  stick out her neck towards the light. The laws of nature is always been and always will be, we just have to learn to adjust to them, so to better befriend them.

Kind regards

Majnoon

Be thy cup half empty so shall it behalf full......you decide...although  i would rather see it from Shirleys point of view.....A new beginning....instead of a beginning of the end.....
