Poem -

Many roads I have traveled

Many roads I have traveled,

creating distance from my past,

bringing me closer to my tomorrows.

My past roads are now

lined with all my yesterdays

discarded along asphalt ways

as if some unwanted waste.

Past roads I have walked,

paining my feet with every step,

slowly creating callous,

slowly scaring wounds.

It's not roads that I seek,

nor is it you.

It is not the end that I am walking to,

as I am not walking away from my beginning.

It is Life in it's true sense that I search.

It is the rights of Life which I long to find.

It is the True You and Me that I wish to witness.

It is Love.

Hey Larry,

Very well overlaid with the essence of life as a whole depicting its trials, eras and the needs and wants of us all, (the unanswered). Curtailing the sacrifices we must unselfishly face, in order to acquire and conquer all the misfortunes that had eluded us in our past. The many moments missed yesterday, with the will power to confront and be made up today, to ensure a more favorable and prominent outcome for our tomorrows to come. With the ultimate goal of our lives, forever sought out in the end, to solidify two hearts into one, at all sacrifices of the seeker and at Ā no expense of the sought after..... Road traveled by many answers found by a few...I too would love to be a master of my universe...and too every question lurks at least one true answer....Power in your poem sir and in it lies a powerful moral to your story...

Once again Jim...Thank you.! Under the heap of all the bs thatĀ  we must wade through, or the obstaclesĀ  laid across our paths, (some forcing other direction) seems to me that something lies beneath that is called Life. Keep walking, the reward will be yours. Have a great day today!
