Poem -

Ashes, Ashes, We all Fall

Ashes, Ashes, We all Fall

Mind refusing to process Thought
Eyes Wide
Head Tilted
Staring blankly into Space

The World's moving Faster
To the End
The Beginning
Inexplicable, Unmeasured Pace

Defeated Senses
No Feel
No Sight
Slackened expression melting from my Face

Ages Burning
Whirling
Twirling
Towards flaming destruction with reckless Pace

Feebly Scurrying
Rat toes Scrabbling
Finds no purchase
Through Desert Waste

Ashes Falling
Black Soot Staining
Wreaths of death Roses
Victors of the Race
