ASHES IN THE AIR

ASHES IN THE AIR

This day is now upon me, my body's laid to rest, this life of mine a struggle, I've past the final test. My coffin is now burning, ashes i shall be, on a distant hill, they try to set me free. IΒ walk this gloomy mile, the spirits like to stare, i hold my head up high, and walk without a care. When searching for my name, engraved on a plaque, imΒ just a lonely soul, walking though the dark.
